Similar to an Angelica, a type of fortified white wine. In case you haven’t heard of fortified wine, it is a sweeter and more alcoholic wine that was originally produced as a method to preserve wine across the long ocean voyages in the 16th and 17th centuries. This was done by adding a measure of brandy so the wine wouldn’t spoil. Port would be another example of fortified wine. In any case, if you are able to lay your hands upon this particular brand, I highly recommend it! It literally tastes like smooth, light, honey. One of my all time favorites.
